Boy, it's been a crazy week in Seattle. Snow, Hail, Freezing tempatures... Sounds more like the Eastcoast than the Northwest. Not that I don't enjoy the snow, I'm glad I have my Subie this year, if I still had my Civic, I wouldn't even try getting to work. It would be asking for an accident.
Snow was suppose to hit Tues 1/9, but we really didn't see anything. But then on Wed around 4pm, it started hailing like crazy. Large balls, about 1 cm, started to fall in almost white out conditions. It was kind of funny, walking from one side of my office to the other, I could see the dark cloud coming toward us. Didn't think much of it, didn't hear any negative weather news, so I just thought it might be rain. Boy was I wrong. As soon as it started coming down, it just stuck. It hailed for a 1/2 hour or so, then it turned to snow. I tried to leave the office, but it turned out to be the wrong idea. I ended up staying at the office and waiting out the storm.
A very interesting winter we've had so far. Snow, Wind, Snow, who knows whats in store next. We'll just have to wait and see...
