World Cup Mania

I just started getting into Soccer(Football) in the past year. Since Seattle now has a MLS team, it's a lot easier to see games and find like minded fans. I didn't think I would be that much into the World Cup. Never paid attention before, but wow, it's been a entertaining past couple of weeks.
It's also prolly cause I have a job that gives me flexibility to watch the matches at work and have full access to the internet.

Comfort Food

I really enjoy living on the Eastside, but it's so hard to find good comfort food in Bellevue. And if you do find good comfort food, it's expensive. I would love to find good traditional Hawaiian food locally. I could drive down to Renton for L&L, but it's a little far for lunch.

One of my favorite channels is Food Network. Watching Diners, Dive-Ins, and Dives creates a urge to open my own restaurant and share some good food with the locals.
I'm thinking if I did open a place, it'll be a combination of Hawaiian and BBQ. If I do say, I make some yummy ribs. :-)

Study Time

I'm studying to take the Hyper-V MS Cert test in a couple of weeks. Having very little experience with Virtual Machines in general it's a little challenging to jump right in. A friend offered a free MSDN Tutorial and Cert Test, so I couldn't refuse.

The MSDN Tutorial is laid out really well. It divides up the lessons into modules and after each module it gives you a certificate. Easy to read and understand and has some labs to put you through the motions of what they are teaching.

Hopefully I'm retaining enough to pass the Cert Test. My company just released a Hyper-V Agent for our product and it would be good to know how it interacts.

It's been 3 years????

Wow, how time flies when you actually have a life... Time for me to get back into posting a blog about what's going on in my life...

What's happened in the past 3 years. In a nutshell, I've pretty much become a different person. New job, new friends, new hobbies, new home, etc...

I have a feeling I'm much more interesting now than 3 years ago... :-)

So let the Blogging begin!
